Evaluation

My project was about sound which I created a podcast about Football hooliganism and debated with a fellow classmate Dan about which of our clubs had a stronger firm. From this I have been able to practice editing sound on abobe audition and was able to edit a good podcast on. I recorded the podcast in the studio with Dan and we used two microphones and a zoom recorder. I asked the questions we could both debate about. I needed to book the studio when Dan was free as well so I had to do a bit of time management.

The podcast went really well and I was able to edit the bad bits out like long silences, going off topic etc. So overall it was effective because I came out of it with a well structured podcast. From doing the podcast I was able to get some practice with the sound equipment like how to use and set it up so I will know for future projects how to use the equipment. It was very useful because the final outcome was a well structured podcast that I thought was really good. Dan listened to the podcast and thought it was really good and funny.

When I was researching into my idea for this project, I was thinking about how much knowledge I already know so I knew what I had to research into and I also needed a topic a fellow classmate would know about so I decided to go with football hooliganism because Dan the person I was working with also knew a lot about the inter city firm so it gave me the idea to do a red army vs The intercity firm debate which ended up going really well.

I have gained a lot of knowledge from this project that will help me do my idea for my final major project such as how to set up and use the camera on my own, now this is gonna come in handy for my fmp since I am recording my fmp by myself so I needed to know how to use and set up the camera which I have learnt to do. I have also gained knowledge from this project  to be able to use blogger and how to evaluate, plan and research into my idea and how to lay it out on blogger.

In conclusion the podcast went really well, but there are things such as using more foley sounds and choosing an easier topic that I will know to do for future projects

  1. You have not discussed the merits of the final outcome - all you have evaluated in what you did in MAKING the product!

Try and follow this as a plan to write a better evaluation:

100 -150 words minimum with images if needed / links / graphics for each point please.

FILL IN EACH SECTION after deleting the information bit!!

Context: What you evaluation is about, the project

Purpose of the work: What you campaign was supposed to achieve, will it?

Main points: List the things you did.

Initial assessment: describe if the things you did. Look at the way you approached the project. Look at time management, skills, idea.

Critical evaluations: Critically assess what went well / badly / needed more input / was effective / ineffective

Techniques used: Detail the skills and knowledge you leant and used in this campaign.

Supporting arguments: Make an argument(s) to support your work saying why it was a good outcome. If it wasn’t say why!

Usefulness and relevance of the final work: Say how and why the final outcome was relevant to the task you set yourself.

Examples to support: Compare and contrast your final outcome with others either in the real world, or your fellow students work.

Overall summery: Write a conclusion as a summery saying things that could have been done better or could be improved in the final solution as an action plan
